Logos
Written on 19 February 2009

I have had a number of queries of late regarding logos. Logos are tricky little things. It is perhaps physically the smallest of corporate identity components, however absolutely critical to get right.

Creating a good logo doesn't 'just happen'. A lot of ground work happens before pen even hits paper. The design process itself is intensive, requiring much more than just a good set of fonts, and a colour wheel. At iLevel, logo 'options' are not an option. We deliver 'the logo' we feel fits your requirements, your brief and your company. Yes, there may be tweaks here and there - creativity goes hand in hand with subjectivity.

Bearing this in mind, our cost structure therefore applies for the creation of one logo. If you want 5 logos to choose from, we'll gladly provide them and charge you for 5 logos. Please don't ask us to "just quickly draw something so you can choose what direction we should take". We don't doodle mindlessly on the back of our notepads. Designing a professional logo requires professionalism, and that is exactly the service we provide, and exactly what we charge for. We could be like some of the bigger agencies and charge you 6 figures for developing a brand - and you'll get the whole shooting match.

iLevel aims to give you extremely competitive pricing for a creative, professional service - delivering just what is required, and charging for the time and experience required to produce it. It's that simple. And that's the way we like it.
